Star gazing is magical, if you have never done it you are definately missing out. I like to get an old blanket, a cold 6 pack of brew & my sweetie and go out into the middle of the meadow by our house and star gaze for hours and have the best FREE time, away from tv, phones, kids. We would make up funny stories of alien life, wormholes & animal retaliation, amoung other things. It allows you the chance to use your imagination, almost like finding things in the clouds, which I also love to do. So if you ever feel the need to escape into the darkness of night, don't forget to look up... you will be AMAZED at what you find!

What got me into star gazing was after reading a story about The Drinking Gourd' and the underground railroad. I learned that many civilizations believed that the celestial bodies were gods, which got me into Greek mythology and onto the Celtic, then the Native American... ALL very interesting!

To REPEL the cows from disrupting your star gazing fun in any field, I have found that playing this song will keep them away & saranade you of their displeasure, and mean looks from your neighbor for upsetting his cows. lol... ( I don't do this often) & it's better than cow tipping I remind him!

The Native Americans living on the plains of the American Midwest believed that the Milky Way is a cloud of dust kicked up by the mighty buffalo as they race across the sky.

It is thought that Stonehenge's stone slabs were placed in a pattern that would allow people to observe the movements of the Sun, the Moon, and the Stars 3,000 years ago.

Anything by Pink Floyd is additional good music to play to keep the curious cows at bay . . . ummm but that only leads to further romantic adventures. (you can only imagine what than means1)
