Shayna The Sad~ Eyed She stands atop the mighty cliff of Moher in ancient Eire, hoping to glimpse the ship that’s her intended’s abode. The last drops of rain dampen her more as the wind moaned wild and the waves roar far below. The fear swelled rapidly inside her, that her Irish eyes shall never gaze upon her lover again. She knew the waters fierceness all to well, yet missed his warm touch that moment ~ no need to pretend. She now spies the figurehead from his ship tossing on the foamy hyaline, other fragments of wood splintered more as they crash against the jagged bluffs below. Tears

trickle down her pale cheeks as the thought of leaping entered her frail mind, and taking that final step to join her beloved in his watery grave, sure their love will last till the end of time… their destinies unite at last, for no one can change what has already been cast!
