S WICCAN PENTAGRAM.jpg SPELLCRAFT.jpg MAGIC
Brimstone, moon, and witches fire,
Candle light bright spell.
Good luck shall I now acquire,
Work thy magic well.
Midnight twelve, the witching hour,
Bring the luck I seek. By wax and
Wick now work thy power as these
Words I speak. “”””Harming none,
this spell is done, by law of three,
So mote it be!”

Let the sacred fires burn bright.
Let the spirits rise and the moon
Make her magic. behold the shadows
As they dance, while the cold wind
Whispers it’s ancient incantations.
Cast the circle and read the signs.
Magic is a foot in the witching hour.
Let the love of the old ones light
The way. May the wisdom of the
Ages through candle-glow and
Magic-mirror be revealed and as it
is willed, So Mote It Be !
To know, to dare, to will, to keep silent;
In order to dare, we must know. In order to will, we
must dare. We must will to possess empire and to
reign we must be silent.
The statement above is the Witches Creed…good
words to live by!
My Belief:
Wicca simply means Modern Day Witchcraft, a positive
shamanistic nature religion. I conduct rites
to attune oneself with the natural rhythm of life
forces marked by the phases of the moon and the changing of
the seasons, preaching brotherly love and harmony with the
respect for all life forms. It is very similar to the Native
American Indians Spirituality. Fact- Paganism/Wicca can
be found in nearly all of the world’s historic religious systems.
It does not oppose nor deny any other religion; it’s simply a
pre-Christian faith.
My Personal Statement:
I do not advocate human or animal sacrifice, nor the killing of
any living being as an offering to any deity. That ‘tis not to
say I could condone a person for befalling the same fate as
his/her victim fell… yes, an eye for an eye, or deny the fact
that I would not hesitate to lay harm on anyone who initially
harms my beloved family. Who would not will that? You
know as good as I that in the end we all pay for our mishaps
in life. The Rule of Three is commonly known worldwide;
“What ye send out, good or bad, comes back to thee three
times greater than what was cast out.”
As far as the connection between witches and Satan is concerned,
the simple fact is that real Wiccan witches from the eldest religion
do NOT worship, receive their powers from, sign pacts with,
or sell their souls to the “Devil”, who is an anti-pagan propaganda
device invented by the Christian church. He/it has never existed
in written literature prior to the New Testament. The craft
is a pre-Christian religion, which has been around much longer
than the church, or it’s concept of Satan, and who was never
worshipped as a deity of the old religion.
Some Historical facts for you:
After the Christian church was formed and came
into power, the ways of the Pagans were believed
to be a threat to the newls established religious
system, and the worship of the many Gods and Goddesses of
the old religion was banned. The Roman Catholic Tribunal in
the early 13th century officially declared the old religion of the
Pagans a “hostile threat” to Christianity. The persecution
against all Pagans spread like wildfire throughout Europe. The
victims of this Christian religion who refused to convert were
brutally tortured, often sexually molested and raped, and then
executed by sadistic, bloodthirsty church authorities who taught
with an iron fist that their God was a God of love and compassion.
The old religion was made an illegal offense in the year 1541 and
reinforced in 1604. A law decreeing capital punishment for witches
and pagans was adopted and 40 years later, the 13 colonies in the
new Americas also made it a death penalty for the “crime” of
witchcraft. By the late 17th century, the followers who remained
loyal to the old ways were in hiding and witchcraft had turned
into a secret underground religion after an estimated 9 million
men, women, and children had been put to death throughout
Europe and more than 30 were condemned in Salem, MA
…all in the name of Christianity! The most popular method
of witch extermination in the new Americas was mainly the
gallows, while some were burnt at the stake, however in
Europe, it was burning, pressing to death, drowning, decapitation,
and/or quartering both during and after death.
For 260 years following the last witch execution,
the followers of the old ways kept their Pagan
practices hidden behind the shadows of secrecy, and
not until the laws against witchcraft in England
were finally repealed in 1951, did witches and pagans officially
came out of the broom closet.
I leave you with this last thought:
Part of your belief as a “Christian” is that many creatures
will be damned; for example: the angels
who fell from heaven through pride, and are now
fiends; and those children of men on Earth who die apart from
the faith of the holy church, namely the heathen; and those too
, who are christened but live unchristian lives, and so die out
of his love… all these shall be condemned to Hell everlasting,
as the holy church teaches you to believe.
“What is impossible to you is not to me. I shall honor your word
in every respect as I am due the same, and I will make
everything turn out for the best in my life, basically you will
get what you put into your life…thus was the way I was
taught by the olden ways of my Gods and Goddesses.”
Magic is finding your connection to the Earth and
all that is natural, alive and moving in the universe.
It binds all that exists together. Magic is living in
that balance with the flow of life. Magic is
everywhere, in the land, trees, rain, stars, and the
sea. It is real, it exists, and it works!
Now, before you start to cast doubt on my words
or belief, ask yourself this one simple question… WHY?
And remember this well. The next time you dye
Easter eggs, hide them and blame it on the “bunny”; carve a
pumpkin, dress up in costume and go trick or treating;
decorate your Christmas tree with shiny
tinsel and lights or tell your children fanciful stories
of Peter Cottontail, ghosts, and of jolly St. Nick it’s
all thanks to the ways of the old religion that was nearly
exterminated and those brave enough to keep the traditions
of yesteryear alive, dangerous as it was and still is!
